NOW that restrictions have been relaxed to allow for more essential goods and services to operate provided that public health standards are still implemented and observed, contactless transactions is key in helping to stop the spread of COVID-19 and practice physical distancing as the motoring public transition to the “New Normal.”

Under this new set-up, Metro Pacific Tollways South Management Corporation (MPT South) encourages the use of the Radio Frequency Identification or RFID which allows for contactless passage through the toll plazas. Several convenient ways are offered for motorists to avail of the RFID for cashless transactions.

The newest innovation and offering of Easytrip Services Corporation is the Stick-it-Yourself RFID. This allows Class 1 motorists to order their Easytrip RFID online and have it delivered right at their doorstep. The package comes with an RFID positioning guide, user guide and Easytrip card for convenient reloading. With just an initial load of P500 as introductory price, this can be purchased via leading online shopping apps and at the Easytrip website.

Getting an Easytrip RFID comes in handy when driving through CAVITEX, C5 Link, CALAX, NLEX, SCTEX.

Motorists plying the MPT South expressways, will find Customer Service Centers in CAVITEX, C5 Link and CALAX open for installation and reloading. Recently, MPT South also activated the Easytrip Express Lanes at Lane 16 Paranaque Toll Plaza Manila Bound and Merville Toll Plaza.

It is highly encouraged to reload online for contactless transactions, not only can it be done 24/7 anytime, any place.

As part of MPT South’s show of appreciation and support to medical practitioners, as well as LGUs and Barangay Medical Utility Vehicles, Free Easytrip RFID passage was given to facilitate quick emergency response.
